Did you know that My Math Assistant has an entire database of math questions that you can use to give your student extra targeted practice? There are two primary ways to create extra practice assignments for your student: (1) Concept Mastery report and (2) By Topic. After you create a new assignment, it will automatically show up in your student's Assignments page.
Using the Concept Mastery Report
Navigate to the Concept Mastery report for your student. Click the "Create Review Assignment" link to open the box. The screen will change a bit to allow you to decide how to create this new assignment. It can be as simple as typing in the number of questions and clicking Create Assignment. This will auto-generate an assignment focused on your student's lowest performance scores on the various lessons/topics.
You can also check a box next to a particular assignment below and enter how many questions you want the assignment to include for that topic. You can see the total number of questions available for each topic on the right side of the table.
Creating an Assignment by Topic
You can also create a custom assignment, including math facts practice, by going to the All Results tab and then selecting the Custom Assignments button. This will show you a list of custom assignments you have created for this student. From there you can delete assignments or click "Add Assignment" to navigate to the page in the screenshot below.
On this screen you can optionally add math facts practice to this custom assignment with a custom number of questions. In the second box, you can add as many practice questions from various topics as you wish, up to 30 total. If you only want them to practice math facts, then don't enter anything in that box.
Click Create Assignment to generate the custom assignment!
